Job summary

Hunt Companies, Inc. seeks Maintenance Technicians at multiple career levels to support the upkeep and readiness of housing communities across the United States.

The role covers a broad range of trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs, with emphasis on safety and documentation. Level 3 technicians will mentor others and lead efficient maintenance operations, including make-ready tasks and emergency repairs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Able to work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Reliable and punctual attendance; strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across diverse people.
• Basic computer literacy; use of company technology platforms daily.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service requests for furnaces, AC, appliances, water heaters, plumbing, carpentry and painting.
• Performs skilled work in trades such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or locksmithing.
• Documents all work per company policy and maintains equipment/tools in ready condition.
• Follows PPE and safety practices; participates in preventive maintenance programs.
• Assists in make-ready of vacated units including painting, flooring, drywall and fixture work.
• Performs emergency maintenance and safety corrections as needed.
• Drives company or personal vehicle for work duties (as required).
• Level 3 Technicians mentor others and assist with troubleshooting.
