Job summary

MGT is seeking a Senior Managed Services Presales Engineer in Atlanta, GA. You will lead technical pre-sales engagements, demonstrate solutions on-site or remotely, and ensure alignment between client needs and proposed architectures. Travel will be required as projects demand.

You will provide architect-level guidance across large MSP engagements, support post‑sales startup activities, and articulate the value of monitoring, SIEM/SOC, and VoIP offerings. Strong MSP domain knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Five (5) or more years of hands‑on experience in an applicable technology field.
• Two (2) or more years of pre‑sales engineering experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate customer requirements into BOM and system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead impactful customer presentations and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtually; develop and nurture customer relationships with sales to drive opportunities.
• Attend on-site customer meetings, provide technical guidance, and align client needs with proposed architectures, traveling as needed.
• Provide Architect Level oversight on large, complex projects and maintain technical leadership through all phases.
• Deliver architect-level technical support during project startup and after implementation for a seamless transition.
• Identify and promote MSP solutions including Monitoring, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
