Job summary

TruWest Credit Union seeks an experienced Mortgage Underwriting and Processing Manager to lead the Mortgage Fulfillment teams, ensuring timely, compliant loan decisions and efficient operations.

You will mentor staff, manage performance, stay updated on guidelines including Fannie Mae, Jumbo, and Non-QM, and partner with senior leadership to deliver exceptional member experiences and robust risk controls.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities to manage mortgage professionals.
• In-depth knowledge of underwriting, processing, and risk assessment processes.
• Familiarity with Fannie Mae, Jumbo, Home Equity and Non-QM underwriting guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mortgage Underwriting and Processing teams to ensure timely, compliant loan dispositions.
• Oversee hiring, training, performance management and employee engagement.
• Direct underwriting and processing to align with TruWest Credit Union's risk tolerance and quality standards.
• Stay current on guideline changes, investor updates and system enhancements.
