Job summary

UFCU is seeking a Senior Quality Control Administrator to lead mortgage QC activities, including pre/post-closing reviews, investor communications, and vendor management. The role guides junior staff and ensures adherence to regulatory standards within the Mortgage Service area.

Responsibilities include monthly portfolio reviews, documentation of findings, and ongoing process improvements with internal partners, while ensuring ECOA/HMDA compliance and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of mortgage regulatory frameworks and compliance rules.
• Ability to translate complex regulations into actionable guidance.

• Experience with mortgage origination/closing documentation and investor guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-closing QC reviews and vendor management.
• Conduct monthly portfolio and declined loan reviews with written reports.
• Ensure ECOA/HMDA compliance for denied/late findings.
• Maintain and improve Quality Control procedures and manuals.
• Collaborate with internal partners and vendors to optimize processes.
