Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of mortgage quality control, compliance, servicing, audit, risk management, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage lending regulations, agency guidelines, investor requirements, and servicing standards.
• Experience with quality control reviews, compliance audits, risk assessments, and corrective action management.
• Experience with Encompass Loan Origination System and QC Software is preferred.
• Understanding of TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA and other applicable laws.
• Strong knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines; DU/LPA findings summaries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-closing and post-closing mortgage loan quality control reviews.
• Identify and report loan defects, documentation deficiencies, compliance exceptions, and operational weaknesses.
• Independently validate income, assets, credit, liabilities, collateral, LTV, DTI, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct reverifications and independent file reviews for underwriting decisions.
• Evaluate origination, processing, underwriting, and closing activities for compliance with standards.
• Coordinate examinations and audits with regulators, investors, and external parties.
• Maintain and update Quality Control Program and QC Manual per investor requirements.
• Track findings, trends, and remediation of QC and compliance issues.
• Lead subservicer oversight program and due diligence reviews.
• Monitor servicing metrics, investor reporting, remittance accuracy, escrow admin.
