Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Senior Loan Processor (West Coast) to ensure accurate loan packages, gather and verify documentation, and coordinate with loan officers and underwriters to move loans through underwriting. The role operates in the Pacific Time Zone and supports the West Coast region.

The position requires 5+ years of residential mortgage processing experience, proficiency with Encompass, and a solid understanding of RESPA and related lending regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and mortgage lending rules.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower credit, income, assets and employment for underwriting.
• Assemble loan package in proper order for underwriting.
• Verify documentation and complete loan checklist.
• Prepare loan approvals and disclosures; communicate with Loan Originator, customer and Underwriter.
• Ensure compliance with mortgage regulations (RESPA, TIL, Reg. Z, Reg. B).
• Assist closing, loan servicing, and purge outstanding items.
