Job summary

CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC is seeking a Senior Loan Processor to deliver high-quality service for the West Coast region. This role focuses on gathering documentation and guiding loans through underwriting in a Pacific Time framework.

The position requires extensive mortgage processing experience and proficiency with Encompass, plus solid knowledge of RESPA, DU/LP, and loan documentation. Mentoring opportunities and collaboration with Loan Officers are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ residential mortgage processing experience.
• Experience with Encompass.
• Working knowledge of RESPA regulations and general knowledge of all mortgage and consumer lending regulations.
• Knowledge of DU, LP, Microsoft Office, and Windows.
• Excellent math and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review borrower’s credit, employment, income, and assets for underwriting.
• Assemble complete loan package for underwriting.
• Verify required documentation (pre-underwrite) in the file.
• Complete the required loan checklist.
• Verify that an application is complete and identify underwriting issues.
• Prepare loan approval summary, Forms 1008 and 1003, and coordinate with involved parties.
• Review loans for compliance with mortgage regulations and prepare disclosures.
• Coordinate with vendors for Survey, Flood Certificate, Title Commitment, and payoff information.
• Manage pipeline by submitting reports within turn-around times.
• Assist set-up of loans and documentation of communications.
• Train and supervise new Loan Processors and staff.
• Assist closing, secondary marketing, and loan servicing to clear suspense items.
• Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
