Fulton Bank, N.A. seeks a mortgage loan professional to originate first mortgages by building relationships with realtors, builders, accountants, and other referral sources. The role is fully commission-based and based out of New Castle/Kent County, DE, with remote work options.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in residential mortgage lending, strong referral-network skills, and the ability to manage the loan process from application through closing while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of residential mortgage lending experience, including local market.
• Proven ability to develop referral sources from external contacts and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develops and expands referral sources outside Fulton Bank to solicit first mortgages and create a continuous origination volume.
• Collects and analyzes applicant financial information to determine loan qualification and recommends suitable mortgage products.
• Engages in sales activity to encourage potential customers to do business with Fulton Mortgage Company.
• Handles loan paperwork, follows up with customers, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
