Citi Bank Retail Mortgage offers home lending services through Citibank branches and centralized service centers. The Mortgage Lending Officer will originate high quality residential real estate loans, engaging with clients, real estate agents, and referral sources to drive mortgage business.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal partners, adherence to lending regulations, and promotional activities for Citi’s lending solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5–8 years of residential mortgage experience.
• FHA/VA & conventional loan experience preferred.
• The employee must register as a mortgage loan originator with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers about financial situations and lending needs to help achieve home ownership goals.
• Collect and analyze customer financial data, goals, income, assets, debts, and credit history.
