Heartland Business Systems LLC is seeking a Senior Modern Work Engineer II to drive Microsoft 365 Modern Work and Data & AI initiatives. The role focuses on backend development, SharePoint, Power Platform, and client-facing presales to design and deliver innovative MS-based solutions.

You will mentor teammates, engage with business leaders, and help build new solutions that solve complex business problems across modern collaboration environments.

Qualifications

5+ years’ Business Consulting experience.
10+ years’ experience analyzing and building collaboration systems.
10+ years’ experience scoping M365 implementation projects with Eng/Cloud teams.
10+ years’ experience with SharePoint on prem (2013/2016/2019).
Active Microsoft Modern Workplace certifications.
Strong outcome focus, prioritization, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Lead presales: meetings, solution design, proposals, and project estimation.
Deliver Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions aligned with client goals.
Mentor junior teammates and share M365 best practices.
Collaborate with executives and IT leadership on strategic decisions.
Contribute to complex business process improvements through technical solutions.
