Heartland Business Systems, LLC is seeking a Senior Modern Work Engineer II to be a key technical contributor in Microsoft AI and Microsoft 365 projects, focusing on backend development, custom development, database, Power Platform, and deep SharePoint knowledge to delight our customers and help them build new solutions/solve challenging business problems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Business Consulting experience.
• 10+ years' experience analyzing and building existing collaboration systems.
• 10+ years' experience scoping M365 implementation projects with Eng/Cloud teams.
• 10+ years' experience in SharePoint on-prem environments (2013/2016/2019).
• Active technical certifications in Microsoft Modern Workplace.
• Strong prioritization skills and outcome-focused mindset.
• Team player with professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales activities, meeting prospective clients and proposing Microsoft solutions.
• Engage with clients to align Microsoft 365 Modern Work solutions with their goals.
• Research and integrate new Microsoft technologies (SharePoint, M365 Copilot, etc.).
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions on time and within budget.
• Mentor junior Modern Work and AI teammates and share best practices.
• Communicate with executives and technical leaders about project status and strategy.
• Estimate development effort for projects and deliver high-quality results.
• Delight clients with Microsoft-based solutions that improve business processes.
