Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis to join an integrated team across GNC, signal processing and missile performance simulations. This onsite role requires solving complex problems and delivering high-fidelity models from concept to fielded product.

Qualifications include a BS in Engineering/Science/Math and 5+ years of related experience, C/C++ and Python/MATLAB, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with object-oriented design and C/C++ programming.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate performance.
• Work in a team environment; provide guidance to others.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel on simulations.
• Develop approaches and solutions across the product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
• Provide technical expertise for simulation products and interact with government counterparts.
