Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an entry-level Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Systems Engineer I to develop high-fidelity simulations for missile design and flight test support. You will work with multiple engineering disciplines to drive simulation projects through the product lifecycle.

Qualified candidates hold a STEM degree and experience with C/C++, MATLAB, and Python. DoD Secret clearance is required; onsite work in Tucson is expected, with competitive benefits and relocation eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, (STEM) obtained by start date.
• Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB and Python for evaluation of data sets
• Experience developing or simulating physical systems
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions
• Experience may be obtained through job experience, research, coursework or projects

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Collaborate with Guidance, Navigation & Control, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to perform simulation activities according to the program schedule.
