Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer II specializing in Modeling, Simulation & Analysis to join our Tucson team onsite. You will contribute to high-fidelity performance simulations for missile systems, collaborating across GNC, signal processing, and test disciplines.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a STEM field and hands-on C/C++ experience, with Python or MATLAB for data evaluation, and the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Solid programming in C/C++ and object-oriented design.
• Experience with Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Experience modeling or simulating physical systems.
• Background in modeling, simulation, statistics, and analysis for engineering solutions.
• Eligibility to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• You will create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• You will develop and implement modeling solutions, conduct trade studies, and evaluate system performance.
• You will work in a team, guiding other members and receiving input from supervisors.
• You will collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other teams to perform simulations per program schedule.
• You will work on multiple projects, devise approaches, and guide development throughout the lifecycle.
• You will provide technical expertise for simulation products and interact with government counterparts as needed.
