Job summary

RTX is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis in Tucson, AZ. You will create high fidelity simulations for missile designs, collaborate with GNC and signaling teams, and guide junior engineers on the program lifecycle. A Bachelor's in STEM and 5+ years of experience are required, with the ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.

The role is onsite in Tucson, focusing on performance simulations and multi-disciplinary integration across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• C or C++ object-oriented programming experience.
• Python or MATLAB data evaluation experience.
• Experience modeling or simulating physical systems.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, and/or analysis for engineering solutions.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions, conduct trade studies, evaluate system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other teams; provide guidance to team members.
• Work on multiple projects; determine approaches and develop solutions through the product lifecycle.
• Provide technical expertise for simulation products; assist senior engineers and interact with government counterparts.
