Job summary

RTX is seeking a skilled engineer to create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support in an onsite Tucson role. You will develop and implement modeling solutions, conduct trade studies, and evaluate subsystem performance, collaborating with GNC and signal processing teams to meet program schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with object-oriented design and programming in C or C++.
• Experience using Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Experience modeling or simulating physical systems.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; perform trade studies and evaluate system performance.
• Work in a team; provide guidance to other team members as needed.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel for simulations.
• Develop approaches and solutions across the product lifecycle from concept to fielded product.
