Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Modeling, Simulation & Analysis to join our Tucson team onsite. You will build high fidelity simulations for missile design, evaluate system performance, and guide multi-disciplinary modeling efforts across GNC and signal processing disciplines.

This role emphasizes leadership and hands-on modeling across the program lifecycle. The position requires a Bachelor’s in a STEM field with around 8+ years of experience, strong C/C++ and MATLAB/Python

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering or modeling/simulation.
• Experience with object-oriented design and software tools.
• Experience in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for engineering solutions.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret security clearance and pursue higher access.

Responsibilities

• Create high fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions, conduct trade studies, assess system performance.
• Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to others on the modeling tasks.
• Work with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance groups to perform simulations per schedule.
• Lead development across product lifecycle from concept to fielded product and provide technical expertise.
