Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III in Houston to perform preventative maintenance and advanced repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will train other technicians, diagnose system failures, and work both in shop and on service calls.

A strong diesel background and safety-conscious mindset are essential. Responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, performing maintenance, repairing brakes and engines, and supporting the on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Diesel technology certification/degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
• Repair brakes, suspension, electrical, exhaust, and engine components.
