Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to expertly service heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will diagnose complex issues, perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and component replacements, and train junior technicians. The role involves shop work between service calls and possible after-hours on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 systems, diesel tech training, welding skills, and a valid license. CDL preferred; hand tools provided by you.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Class A CDL is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction and provide maintenance solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance, oil changes, lubrication and parts replacements.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures and repairs.
• Repair, replace and adjust brakes and suspension components as needed.
• Test drive and diagnose vehicle systems; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
