Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to perform preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles, diagnose complex failures, and train fellow technicians. This role involves shop work between service calls and may include after-hours on-call rotation.

You will inspect, repair and test brakes, suspensions, engines, and electrical systems, with a focus on safety and quality. A high school diploma or GED is required; 7+ years in class 7-8 truck repair and a valid driver's license are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus, but not required.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers; diagnostic experience; welding; air brake knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions and train others.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications, and filter replacements.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose system failures; troubleshoot suspension, electrical, and braking systems.
