Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a skilled Mobile Technician III to master preventive maintenance across all vehicle systems and train junior technicians. You will perform major adjustments, repairs, and diagnostics while working in the shop between service calls.

The role includes on-call rotation and requires extensive experience with diesel engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and welding. Valid CDL is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnostic experience.
• Training experience.
• Welding.
• Air Brake Certified.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions as appropriate.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems and electrical systems.
