Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III in Irving, TX to perform preventative maintenance and advanced diagnostics on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role involves in-shop work between service calls and potential after-hours on-call rotations.

You will train and develop other technicians while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The candidate should have 7+ years in heavy-duty truck/trailer repair, a diesel tech background is a plus, and a valid CDL or driver’s license is

Qualifications

7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
Diesel technology certificate/degree is a plus but not required.
CDL Class A is preferred but not required; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions and provide preventative maintenance solutions.
Train new service shop employees on company procedures for vehicle repairs.
Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrications and filter replacements.
Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes and related components.
Test drive vehicles and diagnose system failures using proper equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and service truck.
