Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to perform preventive maintenance across heavy-duty trucks and trailers and to train junior technicians. You will diagnose system failures, perform major repairs, and support shop operations between service calls, with potential participation in after-hours rotations.

The role requires extensive hands-on experience with Class 7 & 8 vehicles, welding, and air brake systems.

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diesel diagnostic experience and ability to train others.
• Welding experience is required or preferred.
• Air Brake Certified is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles to determine damage or malfunctions.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions and maintain productivity.
• Train new service shop employees on procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform routine maintenance like oil changes, filters, and alignments.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, engines, and drivetrains as needed.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose system failures using proper equipment.
