Job summary

FleetPride in Texas is seeking a Mobile Technician III to master preventative maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles and train others. You will diagnose complex issues, perform major repairs, and work in-shop between service calls. Candidates should have 7+ years in class 7–8 truck repair, diagnostic experience, welding and air-brake skills, and a valid license.

Expect a demanding role with on-call rotation, safety focus, and opportunities for advancement, with full benefits starting on day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel tech cert/degree is a plus.
• 7+ years repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnostic experience required.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Air Brake experience and certified where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Provide preventative maintenance solutions to customers.
• Maintain 80% productivity throughout duties.
• Train new service shop staff on repair procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, engines, and related components.
