Job summary

MiniMed seeks a Principal Mobile Engineer to lead cross‑platform iOS and Android app development for enterprise medical devices. You will architect, build and test software components, BLE communication stacks, and secure data exchange with devices using modern design patterns.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 5+ years) and hands‑on mobile development, BLE, REST APIs, and CI practices. This position is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in mobile app design and development across iOS and Android.
• BLE communication experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug and implement software components and tools; ensure design meets quality standards.
• Architect software using MVC, MVVM, Singleton, Factory, Observer patterns.
• Design BLE stack and data storage; consume REST APIs for mobile devices apps.
• Implement CI best practices for iOS and Android apps and devices.
