Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in software engineering, computer engineering or computer science.
• 8+ years with a bachelor’s degree or 5+ years with a master’s degree.
• 3+ years leading a team of mobile engineers including Android or iOS.
• 3+ years in leadership, supervisory, project management or people management roles.
• Experience leading teams in regulated development environments for web services or medical devices.
• Hands‑on knowledge of automated testing for Android or iOS.
• Technical leadership in product and process design.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to R&D team members supporting career development.
• Ensure high-quality R&D deliverables and maintain technical excellence across product integration activities.
• Develop and monitor department budgets and staffing resources for R&D initiatives.
• Set strategy for assessing, documenting, modifying and testing integrated medical devices.
• Build cross‑functional partnerships with quality, regulatory, PM, manufacturing and marketing.
• Present project updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.
