Job summary

MiniMed is seeking an experienced Mobile Architect to define and lead the mobile architecture for next‑generation medical devices and connected health apps. You’ll own iOS, Android, and Flutter patterns, and guide native vs cross‑platform strategies.

You’ll design secure, scalable solutions for BLE/NFC connectivity, PHI/PII protection, and compliance with medical device standards, while mentoring teams across multiple product lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of software/mobile development experience, with significant experience in mobile architecture.
• Experience with BLE/NFC in medical-device contexts and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural patterns and governance for mobile across iOS, Android, and Flutter.
• Lead native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) development efforts and architecture decisions.
• Design Flutter architecture and state management for cross‑platform components.
• Architect BLE/NFC device connectivity and ensure robust device interoperability and testing.
• Ensure security, PHI/PII protection, and regulatory compliance in mobile solutions.
• Define APIs, cloud integration, and CI/CD for mobile platforms.
