Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Nice to have: degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience as a principal software engineer in mobile development and testing.
• BLE communication experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug and implement software components, software tools and utilities.
• Determine software design requirements and ensure design meets overall product quality.
• Generate product software architecture, design standards and best practices.
• Utilize Design Patterns to write medical device apps (MVC/MVVM/Singleton/Factory/Observer).
• Design BLE stack to communicate with medical devices and characterize BLE performance.
• Store data using mobile databases/DAO/persistence framework.
• Consume REST APIs for iOS/Android and medical devices apps.
• Ensure security via data encryption and secured BLE communication.
• Create reusable components for iOS and Android apps.
• Implement CI best practices for iOS, Android apps and medical devices.
