Job summary

MiniMed seeks an experienced Mobile Architect to define and lead the mobile architecture for next‑generation MedTech products and connected devices. You will own architecture across iOS, Android, and Flutter, and drive BLE/NFC integration in regulated healthcare environments.

The role is hybrid with three days onsite weekly across Minneapolis, MN; San Diego, CA; or Northridge, CA, and involves mentoring teams, establishing patterns, and aligning with security, regulatory, and QA functions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software/mobile development experience with significant mobile architecture work.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with BLE and NFC integrations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall mobile architecture strategy across iOS, Android, and Flutter.
• Lead architectural design reviews and decisions across mobile engineering teams.
• Mentor senior engineers and provide technical direction.
• Architect reliable BLE-enabled device connectivity and NFC integrations.
• Design scalable, secure mobile architectures for regulated healthcare and connected devices.
