Job summary

Cox is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs and advanced repairs on heavy-duty trucks in a mobile field setting. You will diagnose complex systems, manage parts on the service truck, and document findings via TRAIT on an iOS device while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires ASE certifications and a valid DOT regimen, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits. High mobility and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED plus related field experience or equivalent.
• Experience with field service on mobile diesel equipment is preferred.
• ASE certifications are required or planned within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on mobile fleet.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems on trucks.
• Test and road-test vehicles to confirm repairs and diagnose issues.
• Document findings, parts used, and RO data using company devices.
