Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field setting. You will diagnose, repair, and triage complex issues on light to heavy-duty trucks, and serve as a lead on jobsites, coordinating with customers and technicians.

Appointees must maintain safety compliance, manage parts and documentation, and meet productivity targets while traveling to customer sites. Competitive weekly pay and strong benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 5 years in related field, or alternative combos with 3–7 years experience.
• Must supply hand tools to perform duties.
• DOT/FMCSA training and certifications preferred; DOT background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections, PMs, and repairs on mobile and on-site fleets.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems and perform repairs.
• Document work orders and RO updates using company TRAIT app.
