Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field setting.

You will diagnose advanced issues, lead on-site repair efforts, manage parts and documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations. Strong diagnostics and independent scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, DOT inspections, and repairs on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environments.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and drivetrain systems.
• Inspect, test, and road-test vehicles to confirm proper operation and safety.
