Job summary

Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, PMs, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field environment. You will diagnose complex faults, triage repairs, and act as a site lead for customers and technicians.

Requires 3+ years in a related field (5+ years preferred), ASE certifications preferred, and DOT/FMCSA compliance. Competitive benefits and weekly pay are offered; position based in Independence, MO with flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years experience in a related field; 5 years acceptable.
• ASE certifications preferred; DOT/ FMCSA familiarity is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on fleets in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose, repair and adjust electrical, cooling, braking, and engine systems.
• Document work on Repair Orders via iOS device and TRAIT app.
