Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field environment. The role requires diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and coordinating with customers on-site.

You will lead on-site diagnostics, manage parts and tools, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or higher, 5 years of related experience, ASE T8 PMI and 608/609 certifications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required or equivalent experience.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) within 18 months.
• Obtain 608/609 certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PM, DOT inspections, and repairs on mobile/field vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Road test vehicles to verify repair quality and performance.
• Maintain and inspect service truck and equipment; manage parts inventory.
