Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician II to support on-site maintenance and inspections for our fleet customers. You will perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced repairs at customer sites, acting as a lead on jobsites when needed.

Expect to work remotely as needed but reside in the specified region; a strong focus on safety, diagnostics, and timely documentation is required, with incentives and benefits ongoing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE T8 (PMI) and CDL-A preferred or obtainable within 18 months.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations knowledge and safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Perform certified DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers and equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and triage complex issues at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Maintain safety, communicate estimates, and document work in the TRAIT app.
