Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced repairs in a mobile/field environment.

You will diagnose electrical, fuel, cooling, and hydraulic systems on trucks and trailers, and work with customers to meet repair needs. Join a nationwide service network with 24/7 support, service centers, and a strong emphasis on safety, training, and career advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related experience; alternative combos acceptable.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Must supply hand tools needed to perform duties.
• DOT/FMCSA requirements including background check and medical card.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and 21+ years old.

Responsabilités

• Perform DOT inspections and scheduled PMs on light, medium, and heavy vehicles in field/mobile settings.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, braking, cooling, engine, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain service truck and safety checks; document work with RO in TRAIT app.
• Interact with customers to assess needs and provide updates on repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and obtain parts from approved vendors as needed.
