Job summary

FleetPride in Mobile, AL is seeking a Mobile Technician III who has mastered preventative maintenance on heavy-duty truck and trailer systems and can train other Technicians. You will perform major adjustments, complex repairs, and diagnostics, work in the shop between service calls, and participate in after-hours on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Tech cert/degree a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record; Class A CDL preferred.
• Must provide hand tools, air tools, and toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction and provide preventative maintenance solutions.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures for vehicle repairs.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform routine maintenance and major repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, engines, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
