Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to perform preventative maintenance and master advanced vehicle repairs on Class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers. The role includes diagnosing system failures, performing major adjustments, and training other technicians, with shop work between service calls and possible on-call duties.

Candidates should have 7+ years in heavy-duty truck repair, a valid driver’s license, and a preference for Class A CDL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Diesel Technology certificate/degree is a plus, but not required.
• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Class A CDL is preferred, but not required.
• Must provide hand tools, air tools, and toolbox.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction and provide preventative maintenance solutions.
• Perform major adjustments, repairs, and component replacements.
• Troubleshoot and repair brakes, suspension, electrical, exhaust, and steering systems.
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and service truck.
