Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and diagnose vehicle systems for class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers. You will work in-shop between service calls and participate in after-hour rotations as needed.

Responsibilities include diagnosing failures, performing brakes, suspension, electrical, and fuel system repairs, and ensuring safety and quality. A High School diploma or GED is required, with Diesel Tech certification a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience repairing class 7 and 8 trucks and trailers.
• Welding experience is required or preferred.
• Air Brake Certified.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles and determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine services (oil changes, filters, lubrications).
• Repair, reline, replace and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, exhaust, steering, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform tire service, driveline and suspension work as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and drive safely.
