Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Mobile Technician III to master preventative maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and component replacements, train junior technicians, and support on-call rotations as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Diesel Technology certificate/degree, and 7+ years of field experience with class 7 & 8 trucks. Valid CDL is preferred; you must provide hand tools and maintain safety.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diesel technology certificate/degree preferred.
• Diagnostic experience required.
• Welding capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction and provide preventative maintenance solutions.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes, suspensions, engines and fuel systems.
• Test drive vehicles and components to verify repairs.
