Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and advanced repairs on a mobile/field basis.

You will work with light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles, maintain a service truck, and document work using company procedures and TRAIT app. This role requires independent scheduling and strong diagnostic skills while ensuring compliance with DOT and safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED (or higher) with related field experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance – able to complete DOT medical card if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on light to heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field settings.
• Diagnose, repair and test electrical, braking, cooling, and engine systems on trucks and trailers.
• Maintain and document work using company tools and vehicle-specific applications.
