Job summary

Cox Fleet, a Cox Automotive division, seeks a Sr Mobile Diesel Technician to service mobile on-site fleets. You will perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and complex diagnostics in a field setting, ensuring safety and compliance.

Role requires DOT-related certifications or training, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel 100% with a flexible remote work option where you live in the specified region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 5 years’ related field experience.
• Must supply a set of hand tools.
• DOT/FMCSA prerequisites and DOT medical card requirement.
• ASE certifications or OEM training are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and PMs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose and repair using advanced diagnostics, documents RO in TRAIT app.
• Maintain service truck and manage parts inventory; communicate with management.
