Fleet Services by Cox Automotive is hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and advanced diagnostics on light to heavy-duty trucks in a mobile setting.

The role emphasizes independent scheduling, strong diagnostic skills, and customer-facing responsibilities. The position offers a $5,000 new hire bonus with a 50% payout after 30 days and 180 days, and a variable shift that includes weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ related field experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
• OEM training and certifications are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems across truck equipment.
• Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
• Manage parts inventory and operate company-issued service truck.
• Document findings and parts used on Repair Orders using TRAIT app and iOS device.
