Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a Sr Mobile Diesel Technician to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on a range of commercial vehicles.

You’ll operate in the field with a company-issued service truck, work independently, and coordinate with customers to meet uptime goals. A $4,000 new hire bonus is offered plus ongoing benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; 5 years in a related field (or equivalent)
• Own a set of hand tools to perform duties
• DOT/FMCSA regulations familiarity; DOT medical card requirement
• Valid driver's license; ability to travel interstate
• ASE certifications preferred or pursued

Responsibilities

• Perform PM and DOT inspections on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in mobile/field setup
• Diagnose and repair electrical/braking/cooling, engine, transmission systems
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs and proper operation
• Manage parts inventory on company service truck and complete RO documentation
• Comply with safety, health, and environmental policies and DOT regulations
