Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required with CLIA qualifications for moderate to high complexity testing.
• MT/MLS (ASCP) preferred.
• 3+ years MT/MLS experience for internal candidates; 6+ years for external candidates in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical microbiology tests in one or more laboratory sections to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain and calibrate multiplex instrumentation to ensure accurate results.
• Identify and resolve interdepartmental problems affecting test performance and reporting.
