Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for the CX Intelligence Engineering team. You will design and deploy multi-agent frameworks, LLM-powered actions, and agent copilots to power Coinbase chat, Help Center, and agent tooling surfaces.

You will scale production ML services, mentor engineers, and set best practices for secure, compliant AI systems. Required: 5+ years in ML and software engineering, Python, and experience with large language models and orchestration

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience shipping production-grade ML services at scale.
• Experience with large language models and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python for production ML code.
• Ability to communicate ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy the multi-agent framework for agent assist, internal SOP execution, and secure LLM-powered actions.
• Own end-to-end project execution for complex ML initiatives, managing priorities and trade-offs.
• Build and optimize AI-driven concierge chat and agent copilot experiences for improved resolution rates.
• Develop systems to detect and manage bad actors and adversarial inputs.
• Establish best practices for system design and mentoring on ML development workflows.
