Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join the CX Intelligence Engineering team. You will design and build AI-powered systems that connect Help Center, chatbots, and agent workflows, aligning with CX and Engineering to deliver secure, scalable AI support.

You will own end-to-end ML initiatives, work across product and design teams, and drive improvements in automated resolution rates while maintaining responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional ML and software engineering experience.
• Proficient with large language models and ML ecosystems.
• Strong Python production coding skills.
• Ability to document designs and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with responsible AI and human-in-the-loop practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy the multi-agent framework for agent assist and secure LLM-powered actions.
• Own end-to-end execution for complex ML initiatives with priorities and trade-offs.
• Build AI-driven concierge chat and agent copilot experiences to improve automation.
• Develop systems to detect and manage adversarial inputs for safety at scale.
• Establish best practices for system design and ML development workflows.
