Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a Principal Mission Engineering Analyst to develop innovative, mission-level simulations using AFSIM across space, air, maritime, and ground domains. You will build and validate models, integrate Leidos software, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic goals.

The role requires strong programming skills (Python/MATLAB), DoD program experience, and a deep understanding of military operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or CS with 12+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Python or MATLAB.
DoD program experience and deep, multi-domain operations knowledge.

Responsibilities

Model multi-domain systems of systems and software in mission-level simulations using AFSIM.
Create advanced models of space, air, maritime, and ground systems and their behaviors.
Conduct model evaluation and validation.
Apply object-oriented programming to maximize M&S environment scalability and extensibility.
Analyze simulation results to communicate system and software effectiveness.
Collaborate with SMEs, software engineers, and analysts to maximize Operational Analysis productivity.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to maintain high coding standards.
Document model development processes, results and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Stay updated with latest AFSIM capabilities.
Assist in creating technical documentation and presentations for stakeholders.
