Job summary

STR is seeking a Mission Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and deploy software for DoD/IC missions in high-security environments. You will lead software teams, manage customer relationships, and ensure product quality, reliability, and performance.

Requirements include a BS in Computer Science, 7+ years of experience, Active Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and expertise in React, TypeScript, and Python. Travel to customer sites is expected; relocate to eligible locations preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance with potential for Top Secret/SCI eligibility
• BS in CS or related field with 7+ years of experience
• Experience deploying software for DoD/IC missions
• Strong focus on user-centric frontend design
• Proficiency with React, TypeScript and Python

Responsibilities

• Build prototype capabilities from use cases, MVP, and evolve to a cohesive application
• Develop and enhance high-performance frontend features for complex use cases
• Lead system integration across cross-functional teams and deploy solutions
• Collaborate with end-users and customers to translate needs into features
• Deploy and field test in secure environments; travel to client sites up to ~1 week per month
