STR’s Mission Applications Group seeks a Mission Engineer (Full Stack) to design, develop, and deploy software for real-world DoD/IC missions in high-security environments. You will lead engineering teams, ensure quality, reliability, and user-centric interfaces, and collaborate with government operators.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BS in Computer Science or related field with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience deploying software for DoD or IC missions.
• Strong frontend/backend capabilities with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Build Prototype Capabilities: break down use cases, MVP, evolve into a cohesive application.
• Develop and Enhance Features: create high-performance frontend solutions for complex use cases.
• System Integration: lead cross-functional teams to integrate capabilities into existing solutions.
• Customer Collaboration: work with government operators to translate requirements into features.
• Deployment and Field Testing: travel to sites; travel not to exceed ~1 week per month.
